For a while we have been waiting to be able to change text tones for the iPhone. Finally with iOS 4.2 comes the ability to change iPhone SMS tones. There are also a bunch of new ones as well which I don’t particularly care for however you do now have a choice!
To change iPhone 4 ring tones or text tones just go into Settings, Sounds and select the Text Tone you want.
Whilst they are not quite custom text tones for the iPhone at least there are some new ones to select from.
